Privacy Policy

This page explains what information Koz̈hi collects from you when you visit our website or book with us, and how we use it. We try to keep this short and honest. If you have questions, write to hello@kozhi.ca.

What we collect

• Reservations: name, email, phone number, party size, date and time, optional notes, and a card hold via Stripe.
• Gift card purchases: purchaser name and email, recipient name and email, message, and a Stripe payment.
• Newsletter: email address only, and consent to receive occasional updates.
• Server logs: standard web request logs (IP address, browser, page visited) retained briefly for security and debugging.

How we use it

• To hold and confirm your reservation, and to charge the $25-per-person no-show fee if the cancellation policy applies.
• To send gift card emails to the recipient you specify.
• To send newsletter emails to subscribers who opt in.
• To improve the site (aggregated, non-identifying analytics where applicable).

Who we share it with

• Stripe — payments and card holds. Stripe handles card data; we do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Resend — email delivery (confirmations, gift card delivery, newsletter).
• Hostinger — our hosting provider, where the site and database are stored.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

Cookies

We use a small number of essential cookies for the reservation flow. We do not run third-party advertising cookies.

Your rights

Under Canada's PIPEDA, you can ask us what we have on file for you, correct it, or have it deleted. Write to hello@kozhi.ca and we will respond within thirty days.
